Would you like to be part of creating the process for the next generation of medical devices and entertainment products?

If so, this Global technology company in West Flanders are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop new production systems by setting up production cells with robotics, motion and vision systems.

This company have thousands of employees operating all around the World to provide their customers with the very best in medical devices, such as healthcare monitors for operating theatres, through to a slightly different type of theatre in entertainment systems for movie theatres and live events.

The role will involve the design of new products as well as continuous improvement of existing processes. You will also work closely together with R&D to review their designs and provide your inputs, so the products are producible in the most efficient way possible.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to know your way around the Creo 3D CAD software and have experience in designing bespoke machinery (electro-mechanical enclosures, robotics, sheet metal etc.)

The role is predominantly based in Belgium, so you must be an EU citizen and able to communicate fluently, both written and spoken, in English (Dutch would also be a bonus).
