Project Engineering Manager

iO Associates have partnered with a global FMCG manufacturer in the search for a Project Engineering Manager to lead the project delivery at their highly automated site in Bridgwater.

As Project Engineering Manager you will report to the Site Engineering Manager identifying long term projects related to performance, environment, sustainability, obsolescence. They have a multi million spend planned over the next 5 years and this is a pivotal role.

On a day to day basis you will be doing things like coordinating internal resources, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and in budget. You will be developing the project scopes and objectives and ensuring resource availability and allocation.

Additionally you will deliver the execution process, ensuring technical productivity and best practices are deployed rapidly and in an agile way.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Formal Project Engineering Qualification (E.g. Degree, PRINCE2, HND, or apprenticeship routes)
• Experience in a Project Engineering Role
• Background in FMCG environment - Fast paced and highly regulated
• Proactive approach
