iO Associates have partnered with a growing medical device company based in the Cotswolds in the search for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team.

The business is medium in size, meaning each individual makes a real impact on the success of the company. You will also have exposure to more sides of the business and be able make changes and improvements fast, which in this line of work is what it's all about.

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for implementation of Quality processes and procedures,leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction. You will support identification of calibration requirements and ensure measurement systems are fit for purpose. You will be Identifying the Critical to Quality points and suggesting necessary statistical controls and show your ability to link QMS with operational objectives.

You will develop understanding of optimisation of inspection methods and sampling as well as constructing a Surveillance Plan to address quality related risks, all the while Identifying and leading continuous improvement in the standardisation of quality engineering systems, processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience with Projects Quality Management in a highly regulated industry.
  • Degree and / or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline
  • Experience in quality relating to production / manufacturing
  • Worked in international quality standards, preferably medical devices ISO13485
  • Six Sigma, Lean, TQ or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Robust technical knowledge with excellent communication skills
  • On-site training in Quality.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills



In return you will receive a salary between £39,000-£44,000 along with benefits that include:
