SC Cleared AWS Cloud Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35 - Remote Working - ASAP Start

iO Associates are currently looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with active SC Clearance to join my client for an intial 6-month contract role (OUTSIDE IR35) offering a competitive day rate for an immediate start (can be flexible for the right candidate). The client is happy for you to work remotely with the occasional visit to their sites based throughout the UK.

My client is looking for someone to start ASAP so they will be interviewing candidates as soon as they recieve CVs. You'll be working for a defence-based client so any experience working with the MOD or similar clients within this sector would be a big bonus. The role is for an initial 6 months but this will more than likely extend as they see the project being 12+ months.

If you have most of these skills but not all of them, the client would still be interested in seeing your CV.

Experience required:

• Demonstrable experience of AWS required and working in an IT technical role
• Detailed understanding of AWS IaaS & PaaS capabilities, features and services
• Experience in a DevOps environment, CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Experience of AWS management tools and key services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, Lambda, VPCs etc.
• AWS certifications would be ideal but not essential, and experience of other public clouds, and scripting languages would be useful
• Active SC Clearance - essential (must have been used in the last 12 months)
