Senior/Embedded Software Engineer - Manchester - £50,000.

What's going on?

A vacancy has come available for a switched on, ambitious and driven Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the Manchester area.

After an expansion within the company and internal promotions, they are looking for a new Senior Embedded Software Engineer to take over the reigns of the engineering team and lead by example.

Skills my client is looking for.

A successful candidate with possess the following skills:

  • A good working knowledge of C
  • Experience coding in any object-oriented programming language
  • 3+ years' experience post-graduate of embedded software development/engineering.
  • Ability/experience of debugging on target microprocessors
  • Experience of work within ticketing system (eg. JIRA)
  • Experience in Java, C++. C# Kotlin, Python, QT/QML, .NET.

What will my day to day look like?

  • Technically lead selected development activities
  • Support continuous improvement activities such as process optimisation.
  • Assist in developing PC application tools
  • Support PC Software development using C#, C++, Java, QT/QML.
  • Supporting development of automated test routines.
