iO Associates are working with a leading healthcare company who are on the lookout for a Systems Consultant to join their well-established IT department

The organisation is going through extensive growth and are expanding daily with over 170 locations in the UK and are rapidly expanding both within and outside of the UK, as well as looking to exploit emerging digital technologies to innovate and disrupt the industry

They have recently defined an ambitious digital transformation roadmap, which aims to future-proof their Support Office through investment in new systems, simplifying core support office processes, and embedding digital ways of working. The aim is to drive greater efficiency as they continue to scale; improve the service that they offer to patients and practices; and, to deliver an improved experience for internal staff

The primary focus for the Systems Discovery Manager will be enable them to evaluate and select providers for a range of new systems spanning the People and Talent functions. Specific duties will include:

• Establishing an objective, structured process to assess proposals from a range of potential third party systems providers
• Gather perspectives from a range of stakeholders, including those from in-scope functions as well as users and stakeholders from outside these functions
• Lead the development of the business case and recommendation for the system(s) we will procure and, in partnership with the Transformation Office, develop the detailed roadmap for implementation including Communications and Change Management considerations

What they are looking for from you:

• Experience running medium-large scale selection process
• Ability to distil business requirements to inform system selection, taking into account the needs of a range of functions and users
• Ability to lead an objective selection process to evaluate a range of vendors based on those business requirements
• Ability to map out the immediate next steps in terms of business case and implementation roadmap
