We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join a company that brings deep experience from defence, technology, and management consulting environments to help organisations achieve mission-critical outcomes. Its staff includes experienced project managers, consultants and trainers, often with backgrounds in government, military or Big-Four consulting.

You will design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and architectures, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. You will be implementing data integration processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, while maintaining, improving and troubleshooting existing data systems.

Key skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience in SQL and experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
