EC&I Engineer - Multiple Grades - Bridgwater

Job title: EC&I Engineer (mid/senior)
Location: Bridgwater (hybrid working)

iO are partnered with a specialist engineering organisation who support highly regulated programmes, they are looking for EC&I Engineers.

You would be playing a pivotal role in the design and assurance of complex EC&I systems across the full project lifecycle.

Role requirements

• Owning EC&I technical decisions: concept design, system architecture, equipment selection and design justification
• Producing/checking key EC&I deliverables
• Reviewing FEED / third?party design packages
• Acting as a technical interface with clients, suppliers and project teams
• Mentoring engineers and supporting consistent application of standards and best practice

Key skills & experience

• Strong EC&I background within regulated / industrial environments
• Solid knowledge of relevant standards such as BS7671
• Comfortable operating as a technical authority and producing high-quality, auditable design records
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61508 / IEC 61513) and cyber security (ISO 27001 / IEC 62443) beneficial
