A highly skilled Java Software Engineer is required for a leading global aerospace organisation renowned for shaping the future of commercial and military aviation. The company drives innovation, engineering excellence, and sustainable technologies across its international operations.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work as part of an Agile Scrum team developing innovative geospatial software solutions using Java and cloud technologies. You’ll contribute throughout the development lifecycle-from designing and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Java – Core development language. Strong experience with modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot or Quarkus) is valuable.
• Cloud Services Development – Hands-on experience developing on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (most likely containerized apps).
• Unit Testing – Practical use of frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or similar.

• Understands secure coding and automated testing.

• Eligible for SC clearance (UK residency & background check compliant).
