Role Summary
As part of a strategic initiative to enhance operational efficiency, Our Client is seeking a Process Engineer on a two-year contract. This role is critical in developing and implementing innovative manufacturing processes while adapting existing operations to meet evolving demands. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on production efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new manufacturing concepts independently.
  • Adapt existing processes to meet new standards and quality targets.
  • Create specifications, select suitable suppliers, and manage collaborative partnerships to ensure a secure value chain.
  • Coordinate hardware and software requirements for assembly and test systems.
  • Develop innovative testing procedures and implement cross-departmental solutions.
  • Measure, analyse, and optimise processes across final assembly lines to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring compliance with Design for Manufacturing (DfM), timelines, costs, and quality standards.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to shop floor employees to foster collective success.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Relevant professional experience in process engineering.
  • Strong understanding of assembly technologies, programming, and electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in tools such as FMEA, Polarion, and Six Sigma, as well as knowledge of SAP.
  • Programming skills, particularly in TestStand and LabView.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills and a commitment to open communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex project environments.
  • Good command of English, with a willingness to engage in international collaboration.
