Title: Senior Data Engineer
Salary: Up to £80,000 D.O.E
Location: Remote first (1x Per month in Bristol or Birmingham)

iO Associates is working with a data-led organisation where data engineering sits at the heart of everything they do. They’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help shape, build, and scale high-quality data products that support decision-making and deliver real business impact.

This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll own technical delivery, champion automation, and set best practices across the data platform. You’ll work in an agile, platform-focused environment and play a key role in mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

What you’ll be doing

• Building scalable, resilient data products using modern tooling
• Driving automation and engineering best practices
• Owning technical decisions and contributing to data strategy
• Mentoring and coaching engineers across the team
• Turning complex business requirements into robust data solutions

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience with dbt, Snowflake, and SQL
• Experience with Airflow (ADF and Power BI beneficial)
• Proven background in modern data engineering and agile delivery
• Automation-first mindset and strong stakeholder skills
