iO Associates are partnering with a leading aerospace organisation gearing up for a series of new projects within the structures engineering space, with a strong focus on landing gear development.

We’re building our talent pipeline now so we can move quickly once project scopes are released.

Candidates must have the legal right to work full‑time on a freelance basis in Germany (e.g., EU citizenship or appropriate visa/residency permitting self‑employment).

What To Expect:

• Projects are scheduled to kick off in the new year, with exact start dates to be confirmed.
• Engagements will be offered on a freelance/contract basis.
• Initial planning sessions are set for January.
• Seniority levels will be defined once the full scope of work is finalised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, analysis, and development of aircraft landing gear systems.
• Contribute to broader structural engineering activities as required.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver defined work packages.
