Location: Oeiras, Portugal
Contract Length: 4th April 2026 – 31st December 2026
Clearance: Active security clearance required
Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
Hourly Rate: €80-€85 per hour

iO Associates is supporting an international technology organisation in hiring a System Integrator to support the delivery, integration and operation of a large‑scale learning and training environment. This role involves coordinating multiple technical domains and ensuring smooth system performance across the full lifecycle.

Role Overview

  • Managing system integration activities and ensuring technical coherence across applications, infrastructure, networking and security
  • Identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies and lifecycle impacts
  • Supporting architecture work, technical roadmaps and solution design
  • Coordinating onboarding of new capabilities and transition into operational service
  • Ensuring operational stability and service assurance
  • Translating requirements into actionable technical tasks
  • Supporting security compliance and documentation activities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 3+ years relevant experience (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in system integration, coordination or lifecycle management
  • Strong background working across multiple technical domains, including infrastructure, applications, networking and cyber security
  • Experience managing complex dependencies and integrations across the system lifecycle
  • Comfortable working in structured, policy‑driven or security‑controlled environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems, technical architecture or system integration methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT service management (e.g., ITIL)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, virtualised environments, learning technologies or lab systems
  • Desirable: training or experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), governance standards (e.g., COBIT) or mission/training support environments
  • Experience supporting security accreditation or compliance processes
