Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer – Outside IR35 – Corsham (Hybrid)

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a secure defence programme focused on the design, integration, and validation of defence systems. This role involves ensuring system performance, reliability, and compliance with defence standards. It’s ideal for engineers with a strong background in defence systems and an active DV clearance.

Role Details:

• Contract length: 12 months

• Daily rate: £550-£650 per day

• IR35 status: Outside IR35

• Location: Hybrid – Corsham

• Start date: ASAP

• Clearance: Active DV required

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, integration, and testing of defence systems

• Perform system validation and verification activities to meet operational requirements

• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system reliability and safety

• Produce engineering documentation and reports in line with defence standards

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer in defence environments

• Strong knowledge of systems integration, verification, and validation processes

• Familiarity with aerospace or defence engineering standards

• Experience working on secure or classified programmes

• Active DV clearance (essential)
