Avionics System Engineer

Length: 12 Month contract (Likely extensions)
Start Date: Immediate (Urgent role)
Location: Onsite in Munich (1 day per week home-office possible)

My client is now urgently looking for a Systems Engineer - Avionics with experience in Communication System, Navigation System, Cockpit Display System, Maintenance System, Integrated Modular Avionics system, and Auto flight system or similar domain.

Due to the nature of this contract role, my client can only consider candidates with EU citizenship or candidates with valid German Work Permit

Responsibilities:

• Design system architecture.
• Work together with other departments and external suppliers to find the simplest and most elegant solutions.
• Produce system documentation for your assigned system(s): requirements, interfaces, plans, certification documentation, etc
• Write test requirements and participate in test activities at system and aircraft level

Requirements:

• MSc./M.Eng. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience with hardware and software development process according to DO 178B/C and DO 254 and familiarity with ARP4754.
• Experience in one or more of the Systems like Communication System, Navigation System, Cockpit Display System, Maintenance System, Integrated Modular Avionics system, and Auto-fight system.
• Good knowledge in DO 178B/C and DO 254
