About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Specialist to support a major digital transformation project within the water sector. This role is critical to a programme focused on migrating key infrastructure from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
You'll play a hands-on role in designing, building, and deploying secure, scalable cloud solutions, working closely with engineering, security, and delivery teams to accelerate the organisation's cloud adoption journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automated Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
Support the migration of on-prem systems and workloads to Azure cloud services.
Integrate and manage Azure Active Directory for secure identity and access management.
Implement cloud governance aligned with security and compliance standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of robust, repeatable infrastructure.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices and cloud engineering standards.
Key Skills & Experience:
Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AD, Azure DevOps, and core Azure services.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and YAML-based automation.
Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance practices.
Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
