iO Associates are excited to be working with a leading organisation that provides clinical staff to the NHS and private healthcare organisations. They are looking for a Bids and Tenders Manager to join their Operations Team on a permanent basis.

You will oversee bid and tender proposals, applications on behalf of the company, and support framework liaison and contract management. You will also be producing high-quality commercial documents and responses, in order to maximise success rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of bid strategies and processes
  • Identify, source, and respond to tender opportunities in the healthcare sector
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop compelling bid documents
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from qualification to submission
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, and industry partners
  • Monitor and track tender opportunities, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with requirements
  • Analyse bid outcomes and provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in bid management

Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in bid writing and bid and tender management
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant bid portals and tender alert systems
  • Experience working with NHS or public sector procurement frameworks
  • Commercial acumen
  • Project Management or 5 years' experience in a Bid Manager role (desirable)
  • APMP Certification (desirable)
  • Prince 2 Certification (desirable)
