Cyber Security Engineer

iO Associates are working with a rapidly growing company, with global reach, who are on the lookout for a Cyber Security Engineer.

This Cyber Security Engineer will perform a hands-on function in the implementation and maintenance of the company's security infrastructure. There is roughly a 60/ 40 split between BAU maintenance and project work implementation.

Role: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Bristol (initially remote)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits

You will join a growing team who focus on enhancing the company's SIEM infrastructure. The security remit covers applications and infrastructure.

There is a huge focus on Security Intrusion Detection in this role.

This position will involve:

• Designing and implementing security changes
• Automating repeatable tasks
• Documenting processes and procedures

Technically, this role will involve working with:

• Firewalls
• Vulnerability Management
• SIEM
• IDS/ IPS
• Email content filtering
