We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst for a leading provider of data-driven products and services, specialising in curating, managing, and delivering high-quality geospatial and environmental datasets to a wide range of industries. The organisation plays a key role in supporting decision-making across property, infrastructure, and environmental markets by delivering trusted, accurate, and accessible data solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability, the company invests heavily in technology and expertise to ensure clients have the insight they need to manage risk and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Lifecycle Management: Maintain and enhance datasets through ETL/ELT processes, pipeline optimisation, geocoding, and quality monitoring, acting as subject matter expert for internal and external queries.
  • Product & Service Support: Research, evaluate, and configure datasets, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery against project plans.
  • Orders & Governance: Advise on bespoke customer orders, manage delivery from start to finish, and ensure datasets meet governance standards with accurate frequency, currency, and metadata.
  • Continuous Improvement & Team Support: Drive process improvements, support KPIs on automation and efficiency, and provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to colleagues.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualification in GIS or a data-related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in data analysis/curation and in developing ETL/ELT processes with a focus on optimisation.
  • Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python, with exposure to database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL/GIS.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud-based data tools and storage solutions.
