Job Title: Data Architect, MDM and Data Quality

Role Summary:
Our client is looking for a Data Architect to drive and shape their enterprise data architecture. This strategic role involves spearheading data strategy and cloud architecture initiatives, with a particular emphasis on operational data use cases.

The successful candidate will play a vital part in implementing and scaling Master Data Management solutions, establishing reference data management practices, and ensuring data quality at an enterprise level. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that have a significant impact on the organisation.

This is an initial 6 month agreement for a 2 year project, so extensions are a high likelihood. The maximum rate on offer is €800 per day.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement enterprise data architecture strategies
Lead initiatives related to Master Data Management and data quality
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data architecture requirements
Design and implement data modelling solutions in line with domain-driven design principles
Evaluate and select appropriate cloud platforms and database technologies
Oversee the development of analytical data architectures, including data lakes and warehouses
Contribute to the integration of reporting and analytics tools
Utilise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF for effective planning and execution

Essential Skills & Experience:

15-20 years of experience in enterprise data architecture and cloud architecture
Proficiency in operational data use cases, data modelling, and Master Data Management
Strong knowledge of analytical data architectures and public cloud platforms
Experience with both traditional and modern databases
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Certification in architecture methodologies
Experience with a variety of reporting and analytics tools
Knowledge of emerging data management trends
