Embedded Test Engineer (100%)

Lausanne, Switzerland.


We are looking for a candidate to join the Software Development Department, who is highly motivated and interested in working with Embedded software in a fast-evolving research environment to support advanced R&D in the Medical Device industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate functional requirements into test cases.
  • Implement unit, integration and system tests.
  • Execute test procedure, analyse results and write test reports.
  • Document review (software design, software specifications, …)
  • Develop automation test tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • French and English full proficiency (written and spoken)·
  • BS/MS in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in embedded software testing.
  • Experience in embedded software development/testing and basic electronic skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with medical devices related standards such as IEC 62304, IEC 60601 and IEC 61508 or other safety critical standards (such as aerospace, railway or automotive).
  • Experience with software development process especially for safety-critical software.
  • Experience working with development platform, such as GitLab.
  • Experience working with automated testing tools such as LDRA, VectorCAST.
  • Experience working with issue tracking systems JIRA.
  • Extensive experience in C++ software development.
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management software.
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Experience working with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Flutter/Dart testing.
