Job Title: SCADA Automation Specialist (Freelance/Contract)

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Automation Specialist to support the unification and optimisation of multiple industrial SCADA systems into a centralised control and monitoring platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop applications to integrate discrete SCADA systems into a single visualisation and control environment.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance automation and connectivity across production processes.
Implement predictive and efficiency-driven solutions by linking SCADA systems with MES/ERP data (e.g. SAP) for optimisation of power usage, reduction of scrap and cleaning agents, and improved production efficiency.
Provide on-site support (Europe-based) as needed, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.
Contribute to the design of a long-term managed service model for ongoing SCADA support.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience with Siemens-based SCADA platforms.
Strong background in industrial automation and application development.
Familiarity with MES/ERP system integration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to support mission-critical production environments.
Fluent German and English (Serbian language skills advantageous).
Flexibility for site visits in Central/Eastern Europe (initial project based in Vienna).

Contract Details:

Freelance/Interim position.
Initial project engagement with scope to expand into broader managed services.
Start: As soon as possible.
