iO Associates have partnered with a food manufacturing company, that produces chilled & frozen products for the Food-To-Go market, who are currently looking to recruit a Goods In Team Leader - Warehouse.

You will be responsible for all team members working in the warehouse area whilst maintaining standards of quality, hygiene and safety. You will manage Goods In and the dispatch area and be responsible for motivating and developing your team, and working towards targets.

Main Responsibilities:

Monitor progress of team members, identify training requirements and implementation of training
Maintain discipline throughout the team, monitor and develop the performance of team members
Take control of goods in area and monitor Use By dates and implement good stock rotation (FIFO)
Ensure the daily stock up is carried out by your team correctly and accurately and any shortages reported
Take control of sterilising room and goods in area. Ensure all deliveries are received and checked.
Manage the despatch area and ensure that orders are picked and packed accurately
To ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and fully
Identify improvements and problems quickly and take effective action to resolve them.
To monitor and work to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

Key Skills

Must have knowledge of all tasks performed throughout Goods In and Despatch within a low-risk area.
Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
Food manufacturing experience
Food hygiene / HACCP qualification would be desirable
Workplace Health & Safety regulations
Forklift license

Shifts are 9-10 hours per day over 5 days within a 7-day period to include every Sunday. Some flexibility is required. This shift is for the PM team and starts at 1.30pm.
