Head of DDaT Portfolio Delivery
Up to £71,000
A remote role with some travel expectations to key national sites.
We're looking for an experienced Head of DDaT Portfolio Delivery to lead the delivery of complex digital and technology projects that transform how care is delivered to over 110,000+ clients every year.
This is your chance to join a growing, mission-driven healthcare organisation, working at the heart of a cross-functional team including Digital, Product, IT, BI, Governance, and Clinical teams. You'll ensure that digital and data solutions are not only technically sound but also fully adopted and aligned with business needs, whether that's rolling out pathway enhancements or overseeing large-scale digital transformation.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead delivery across the entire DDaT portfolio, ensuring all deployments are strategic, timely, and within budget.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless, user-centred technology solutions that support both clients and operational teams.
- Drive best-in-class governance and delivery through Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee rigorous testing and quality assurance across all internal teams and external vendors.
- Bring innovation to life working on data-driven initiatives like AI, RPA, and digital UX projects that improve client journeys and business outcomes.
- Identify risks early, manage dependencies, and lead with critical thinking and solution-focused mindset.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in portfolio delivery of digital/data/technology projects, ideally in complex or regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, DevOps, Agile and Waterfall lifecycles.
- Strong technical acumen with a hands-on approach and respect from development and technical teams.
- Skilled in quality assurance, risk management, vendor oversight, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across diverse business and clinical teams.
- Experience working with tools and concepts such as ITIL, system architecture, technical documentation, and modern delivery practices.
