Head of Quality & HSE (m/f/d)

€95,000 to €120,000 Basic Salary per Annum + up to 12% Annual Bonus

iO Associates are currently partnered with an innovative and ambitious Aerospace company, who are seeking a Head of Quality & HSE to work at their HQ in Hamburg.

In this role you will form part of the senior leadership team, with responsibility for a team of 8 and all Quality & HSE related topics within the business. You are responsible for daily management of the team, whilst still being hands-on with Quality topics; specifically you will frequently interface with suppliers, customers, and aerospace authorities.

The Head of Quality & HSE has overall responsibility for the improvement and optimisation of the Quality Management System. Together with the team, you will develop processes and procedures according to standards such as EN 9100, EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145, etc, and liaise with EASA and other governing bodies.

The company are developing world-class electrical systems which are utilised by aircraft OEMs globally. They are looking for an individual that is motivated to deliver results in the Quality & HSE domain whilst developing a strong team culture.

The Role:

Leading a team of 8 across all Quality & HSE topics: production quality, supplier quality, process quality, design quality, HSE, auditing, QMS, etc.
Responsible for leading audits and subsequent investigation and resolution of findings.
Development & optimisation of QMS and Quality procedures.
Frequent liaison with customers, suppliers, governing bodies and the executive board.

The Requirements:

Background in quality in an aviation environment.
Leadership experience is required.
Business fluent in German & English.
HSE experience is useful but not mandatory.
