Head of Testing and Verification & Validation - Clean-Sheet Aircraft Program

iO Associates is proud to partner with a leading aerospace innovator seeking a Head of Testing to lead the testing function for a new, clean-sheet aircraft program.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a truly unique aircraft, designed from the ground up using modern engineering approaches.

You'll be responsible for developing and overseeing the testing strategy across all systems and phases of development, ensuring the aircraft meets safety, performance, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience leading testing, verification & validation, or quality assurance in the aerospace industry
B1 level or higher in French
Fluency in English
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
Good communication and team leadership skills
Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the overall testing strategy
Build and manage a skilled test engineering team
Collaborate with design and systems teams to support integration
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, etc.)
Monitor progress and report on testing outcomes
