Integration Developer - Public Sector / Education

Location: Remote First + occasional travel

Salary: £50k-£60k

Contract: Permanent Role

iO Associates are supporting a well-established organisation in the public/education sector who are looking for a skilled Integration Developer to join their growing team.

This is a key role focused on building and maintaining robust system integration's using Azure Logic Apps and APIs. You'll be working on projects that help connect and streamline critical services, supporting digital transformation in the public sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing and developing integration's using Azure Logic Apps and REST APIs.
  • Building API-driven workflows and automation solutions across cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Working with SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, stored procedures) for data transformation and reporting.
  • Leveraging Azure services such as Blob Storage, Azure Functions, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable integration solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Azure Logic Apps - designing, deploying, and managing workflows.
  • Proven track record of building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Solid development background in C# and .NET Framework/Core.
  • SQL Server development skills (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS).
  • Experience with Azure services and authentication (e.g., Azure AD, Microsoft Graph).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with other Azure services like Azure Functions or Data Factory.
  • Knowledge of messaging frameworks (e.g., RabbitMQ).
  • Exposure to JavaScript, Blazor, or D3.js.
  • Background in public sector or education environments.
