Your Task

  • Conduct detailed stress analysis on landing gear components and systems to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety standards.
  • Integrate landing gear stress analysis within broader aircraft structural analysis, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Develop and validate stress models, simulations, and testing procedures specific to LGS.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to design and manufacturing teams on material selection, component design, and assembly processes to optimise stress performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to review and validate landing gear components and systems.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and certification processes related to LGS stress integration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in landing gear stress analysis methodologies and technologies.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in stress engineering with a focus on Landing Gear System stress analysis and integration.
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structural design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with certification requirements and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) related to landing gear systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

For the first three months, employees will work onsite four days per week. This will be followed by six months of working onsite three days per week. Finally, for the last three months, employees will work onsite two days per week.
