Lead Design Engineer

As a Lead Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of high-voltage technology, responsible for designing and enhancing automotive connectors for the next-generation of vehicles across the globe.

Collaborating directly with Global OEMs and internal stake-holders, you'll lead the overall vision and 3D design, all the way through to integration/testing and SOP.

Lead Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Leading the development and design of next-generation of electromechanical connectors
• Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into systematic design implementations
• Selecting appropriate materials based on internal and customer specifications
• Contributing to design FMEAs and participating in process FMEAs
• Coordinating testing and integration throughout prototype to SOP phases

Lead Design Engineer Requirements

• Proficiency in Automotive Connectors and Component level expert
• Experience with related tools: CATIA, AUTOCAD, 3D Design, NX or UniGraphics etc.
• Familiarity with cost evaluation and basic business knowledge
• German speaking is non-negotiable!
