Lead Developer

£800 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid | London (1-3 days per week on-site) | SC cleared or eligible

Our client, a government organisation, is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to guide technical direction and deliver innovative low-code and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on technical and architectural decisions across projects.
Collaborate with Product Owners and User Researchers to align delivery with user needs.
Design and implement low-code and Python-based solutions.
Support a small team of developers, promoting best practices and quality.
Work with technologies including Power Platform, SharePoint, Vertex, Bedrock, and Azure AI Foundry.

Requirements

Strong background in software architecture and delivery.
Hands-on low/no-code development experience (essential).
Proficient in Python and modern frameworks (e.g. LangChain).
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
SC cleared or eligible.

Desirable

Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and/or public sector projects.
