Mechanical Design Engineer

iO have partnered with a successful manufacturing company delivering into the semiconductor industry.

The role offers the opportunity to get stuck in with hands on design and project engineering responsibilities. You will be working on the static structures, skins and frames that make up the machines and equipment they deliver globally.

Brief overview of skill-set and experience:

• Degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• CAD Software: CREO Parametric or Pro/E
• Demonstrable Project Management & Planning Experience
• Sheet metal design: Welded sheet metal frames and structures- any industry
• GD&T, Materials Selection, Design For Manufacture, Fabrication/Machining Methods

• CFD and FEA
• Measurement Instrumentation
• MATLAB
