IO associates are proud to have partnered with an innovative global company that are leading the medical device industry. We are looking for a Mechanical engineer for a permanent position at the company. The role is based in Bern, Switzerland and boasts a competitive salary.

Your responsibilities?

• Planning and carrying out work in the area of ??product development in accordance with internal and normative guidelines
• Organization, implementation of verifications and general tests as well as their evaluation
• Defining optimizations taking into account the plastic-friendly design
• Planning, carrying out and evaluating technical analyzes and calculations
• Design responsibility - ensuring compliance with the design specifications of products on the market
• Root cause analysis of problems at system level (from the manufacturing process or complaint)
• Participation in the assessment of technical variants and their execution in accordance with internal and normative guidelines
• Creation of technical documents during the development process and in the product management phase in accordance with internal and normative specifications

Your Profile:

• Completed training as an HF/FH engineer in the field of mechanical engineering, plastics or microtechnology
• Ideally experience in medical technology and injection molding technology
• Industrial experience, particularly in the development of mass-produced products, is an advantage
• Experience in creating technical documents is an advantage
• CAD knowledge is an advantage
• English and German fluent
