Location: Hybrid - remote with 1x day per week in Central London (you must be commutable or open to relocation)

iO Associates are working with a respected healthcare organisation committed to delivering high-quality clinical care and operational excellence across a large, multi-site network. With a growing procurement function, they're looking to bring on board an experienced Buyer to support strategic purchasing and contract management across their national estate.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join a forward-thinking healthcare provider on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value across a range of procurement categories.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end procurement processes across multiple spend areas
Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery
Support contract negotiations and renewals
Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure procurement aligns with organisational priorities
Use data and analytics to monitor performance, cost savings, and compliance
Support the development of procurement strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience:

Procurement or buying experience, ideally within healthcare, hospitality, utilities, or multi-site environments
Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts
Commercially sharp with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
CIPS qualification or working towards (desirable)
