Location: Hybrid - remote with 1x day per week in Central London (you must be commutable or open to relocation)

iO Associates are working with a respected healthcare organisation committed to delivering high-quality clinical care and operational excellence across a large, multi-site network. With a growing procurement function, they're looking to bring on board an experienced Buyer to support strategic purchasing and contract management across their national estate.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join a forward-thinking healthcare provider on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving value across a range of procurement categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes across multiple spend areas
  • Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery
  • Support contract negotiations and renewals
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure procurement aligns with organisational priorities
  • Use data and analytics to monitor performance, cost savings, and compliance
  • Support the development of procurement strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience:

  • Procurement or buying experience, ideally within healthcare, hospitality, utilities, or multi-site environments
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts
  • Commercially sharp with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • CIPS qualification or working towards (desirable)
