We are currently looking for a Principal EICA Engineer to join a leading client of ours in the Defence/Nuclear sector. They are a leading infrastructure solutions provider driving innovation across transportation, energy, water, and defence sectors.

Oversee and deliver cost-effective, compliant EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) designs and documentation for projects, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and effective coordination from concept to installation.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review electrical, instrumentation, and control system designs and documentation.
Conduct site surveys and support installation, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing.
Coordinate with suppliers, review technical bids, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Oversee project delivery, allocate tasks, and ensure quality and budget adherence.

Requirements:

Degree in electrical, electronic, or control engineering (apprenticeships considered).
Significant engineering experience in relevant sectors.
Strong understanding of design practices, installation requirements, and industry regulations.
Familiarity with safety standards, risk management, and compliance processes.
