Role Summary

Our Client is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role is crucial for driving forward key projects within the organisation and will involve a combination of remote work and occasional travel to South west. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT delivery and hold an NPPV3 certification, with expertise in PRINCE2 methodologies and service transition.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage IT projects from inception to completion
Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to all relevant parties
Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in a flexible environment
Strong knowledge of IT systems and methodologies, particularly in networking, applications, mobile technologies, airwave, and voice systems
NPPV3 certification is essential
Proficiency in PRINCE2 methodologies and service transition processes

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience in general IT operations and support
Previous experience working in a similar role within the public sector
