Our client, a leading company in the field of power electronics for space applications, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their rapidly growing team.

Ideally you will have a strong background in electronics and experience in managing projects in the space industry is ideal - or perhaps you are from the Automotive industry but are interested in building a career in this sector - but it is no doubt, an exciting prospect for those seeking a high technical challenge.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing customer projects and internal projects related to the development, qualification, and production of power electronics. Using your expertise in project management methods, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined time, scope, cost, and quality parameters.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of project management methods and a proven track record in managing electronics development projects.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
Proven background in the Automotive or (ideally) Space industry
Fluency in English (at negotiation level)

Nice to have: German language skills

Responsibilities:

Managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring all project deliverables are met
Coordinating and monitoring subcontractor work packages and project orders
Managing project resources effectively
Documenting project progress and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders
Acting as the central point of contact for the customer, addressing any change requests or complaints
Providing feedback to management and sales teams and supporting business acquisition efforts
Continuous process improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and quality
