Salesforce Manager (12-Month FTC)

Location: UK (Remote)

Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months)

The Role:

They are seeking a Salesforce Release Manager with a development background to drive release processes, CI/CD pipeline automation, and hands-on support for a dynamic Salesforce team.

You will be at the heart of release management, ensuring efficient, traceable, and robust deployments on the Salesforce platform. You'll also contribute to the team's development efforts and have the opportunity to work hands-on with the latest Salesforce capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize release management processes for Salesforce platforms.
  • Build and maintain version control strategies using Git; manage release branches and advanced Git operations (merging, cherry-picking).
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging Github Actions, with environment-specific workflows.
  • Draft and execute deployment and implementation plan according to release schedules.

Required:

  • Expert in Git workflows and advanced operations (merges, cherry-picks).
  • Significant hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
  • Proven Salesforce platform development and release management expertise.
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD principles, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SDLC concepts, Salesforce architecture, and APEX.
  • Experience using delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
