    Overview:
    Are you an experienced Building Services Engineer looking to take ownership of complex, multidisciplinary projects? We are seeking a passionate individual to lead the design and implementation of electrical and mechanical building services for high-profile developments across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and transport.

    You'll collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and wider project teams to ensure that innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with clients to define detailed mechanical and electrical building services requirements and develop comprehensive reports reflecting their needs.
    • Conduct Options Appraisals and present clear, justifiable recommendations for client sign-off.
    • Manage and mentor internal engineers and graduates, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery.
    • Collaborate effectively with architects, quantity surveyors, and structural/civil engineers to align project goals.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Essential:

    • Degree in an engineering discipline (with potential to achieve Chartered Engineer status).
    • Experience in managing substantial, multidisciplinary construction projects.
    • Proven ability to work within ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
    • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and relevant British/Scottish standards.

    Desirable:

    • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards).
    • Understanding of mechanical systems and low carbon/renewable technologies.
    • Awareness of planning legislation and compliance.
