Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Join an innovative global leader in green technology solutions, specialising in Power Utilities. Based in Dublin, we're seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer for cutting-edge projects in renewable energy, Smart Grid, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded firmware, desktop, and web applications for high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and integrating software solutions.
- Create firmware and software architectures
- Develop in Python, Bash, and Windows scripts for automation.
- Identify and propose innovative solutions for improved software performance.
- Configure and manage development tools like Atlassian, GITlab, Jenkins, and AWS.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ year's work experience in embedded industry.
- Expertise in C, C++, and Windows development.
- Proficiency in GIT commands, networking, and scripting.
- Experience with board firmware and real-time operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic electronics knowledge.
