Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
£40-50 per hour
2-3days hybrid working
12-month rolling contract

Skills Needed

  • Autodesk Inventor.
  • Appropriate analysis software (ANSYS Mechanical, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Production of high quality 2D engineering drawings.
  • Design analysis skills for Manufacturing, DFMEA & PFMEA,
  • Hands-on assembly of prototype hardware.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with ANSYS, including static structural analysis, thermal and modal analyses.
  • Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics.
  • Experience with rotating machines.
  • Packaging of electronic components and assemblies in mechanical enclosures.
  • BOM creation and management.
