SAP BTP expert needed - Contract - Outside IR35 - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant with expertise in both Public and Private Cloud deployments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions using SAP BTP services to support digital transformation initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, advise stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration with on-premise and cloud SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement SAP BTP solutions across public and private cloud environments.
Lead or support architecture and integration efforts between SAP BTP and core SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Analytics Cloud).
Configure and utilize services such as SAP CAP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Mobile Services.
Advise on the best deployment options (public vs. private cloud) based on business requirements and security/compliance needs.
Develop custom applications, APIs, and microservices using SAP BTP tools and technologies.
Support DevOps pipelines for SAP BTP applications including CI/CD, Git, and containerization.
Stay current on SAP BTP roadmap, tools, and best practices to ensure optimal design and performance.
Provide technical documentation and training to stakeholders and end-users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in SAP technologies with 2+ years specific to SAP BTP.
Proven hands-on experience with SAP BTP services in both public and private cloud environments.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, security, and networking.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript (Node.js), or Python.
Experience with integration tools such as SAP Cloud Connector, SAP API Management, and SAP Event Mesh.
Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP BTP certification(s) or equivalent.
Experience with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) in conjunction with SAP workloads.
Understanding of data governance and compliance in cloud-based SAP environments.
Previous consulting experience in client-facing roles.
