Title: Senior VDI DevOps Engineer
Location: Veldhoven (Hybrid/Onsite)

Contract: 12 months

About the Role

Our client is upgrading their global Developer Workplace environment, supporting software teams in the Netherlands and Taiwan. They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong VDI expertise to ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own the stability and performance of VDI services.
Deliver enhancements and roadmap features in an Agile DevOps setup.
Automate workflows and support CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with Infra, Security, and Core IT teams.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth workplace operations.

Required Experience

Bachelor's in Engineering/IT.
Strong DevOps background in large environments.

Hands-on expertise with:

VDI + Windows admin
Automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Git)
VMware
Docker, Azure
Splunk, ServiceNow

Core Skills

Quality-focused with strong ownership
Clear communicator and team player
Proactive, structured, and improvement-driven

Must-Have Technical Skills

VDI administration
CI/CD & IaC (Ansible/Git)
VMware

Automation scripting
