Software Developer - Driving Simulation

Location: Buxheim

Join our team and oversee the systems that help us bring the future to life today. You will enhance existing driving simulators and develop new experiences. Your responsibilities also include crafting assistance systems for driving simulators, covering everything from algorithms to operation. Through overseeing studies, you'll gain insights into industry developments and challenges. Your work will span from table-based tests to full vehicle simulators on motion platforms. Additionally, we offer intriguing opportunities within the automotive sector, coupled with exposure to cutting-edge technological advancements.

This position offers engaging tasks that align with contemporary needs, where you'll play a pivotal role in development!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in C++ software development
  • Proficiency in algorithms, particularly in automotive control systems
  • Familiarity with Linux is advantageous
  • Knowledge of assistance systems (autonomous levels 0-5) is a plus
  • Experience with Vires VTD OpenDrive/OpenScenario is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Structured, independent, and proactive work ethic
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German and English
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a software development team
  • Willingness to work on-site in Buxheim

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000
