The role and team

This Swiss based, international company are looking for a professional to fill a SysOps/SysAdmin position residing in the Infrastructure and Operations team. Working alongside the DevSecOps expert, DevOps expert and Head of IT & Infrastructure, you'll be in the innovation focused team; an environment created to encourage collaboration, discussion of new ideas and to continuously grow professionally!

Your primary responsibility will be managing the day-to-day operations of the cloud based ecosystem for the company's infrastructure, but the team covers a wide array of tasks like IAM and Networking (PKI/Certificates, Firewalls, Network migrations…) too, so some exposure to surrounding roles and tasks with a desire to learn more here is a bonus!

Culturally, we are looking for someone that has a strong drive and is eager to suggest new ideas, technologies, and bring their experiences to the team to really make an impact and have a voice with regards to how the infrastructure is designed!

Requirements:

• AWS Associate Level / SysOps Administrator (EC2, ECS, SSM, CloudFormation, S3, etc.).
• Linux (Amazon Linux / Debian / Ubuntu)
• APM or Logging & Monitoring (New Relic / Grafana / Dynatrace / Centreon / Splunk / Elastic / Prometheus, etc.)
• Some network experience (Firewalling, Routing, Panorama, Fortinet/Cisco/Palo Alto...)
• Right to live and work in Italy if not already located and at least B2 English

Desirable skills:

• Kubernetes and/or EKS: Knowledge of container orchestration.
• Terraform / Ansible: Infrastructure as code expertise.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Powershell, and/or Bash.
• Azure
• IAM
