As a System Engineer you play a key role in shaping the future of IT infrastructure and storage solutions. In this dynamic position, you'll design solution architectures, conduct thorough testing, and ensure seamless integration of storage and backup & restore systems.

Your Role:

• Craft solution architectures, execute PoC's, and evaluate storage systems for production implementation.
• Ensure continuous availability of IT services across environments.
• Update and manage software, firmware, and drivers for assigned IT services.
• Assess and mitigate security threats, providing specialized training.
• Support developers and users, lead task forces during incident resolutions.

Your Profile:

• Education: Technical degree from UNI/ETH/FH.
• Previous experience: 3+ years as a systems engineer in infrastructure and storage.
• Toolkit: Proficient in Veeam, VMware, vSphere, and/or Hyper-V and familiarity with automation tools like Puppet and/or Ansible.
• Your focus: Expertise in designing and implementing IT infrastructures, experience managing storage and backup & restore systems, software, and firmware, and good knowledge of ensuring storage solutions' availability in production.
• Desirable: VMCE or VMCA, familiarity with POLYCOM systems and Hermes knowledge.
• Adaptability: Willingness to provide on-call duty and work on-site.
• Multilingual: Fluency in German or French, and Italian is a plus.
