System Safety Engineer

Are you a passionate engineer with a strong background in automotive systems and functional safety? Our client, a leader in cutting-edge mobility technologies, is looking for a System Safety Engineers to support pioneering development in next-gen steering systems. You'll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards for one of the most iconic automotive brands

What You'll Do:

Own the system safety deliverable across multiple vehicle variants
Develop and validate ASIL D level safety requirements
Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust design and verification
Engage with testing teams and support fault injection testing at system and vehicle level
Define safety requirements and architectural elements at both concept and product levels

You Bring:

7+ years' experience in automotive system or functional development
Strong expertise in ISO 26262 and embedded system safety
Familiarity with CAN, CANoe, CANape, UDS, diagnostics, and testing in test vehicles
Solid grasp of system/software validation and ASPICE processes
Experience with tools like Simulink, CarWeaver (SystemWeaver), and Teamcenter
Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken)
