Role: Senior DataWarehouse Engineer

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum

Location: Fully remote

I am super excited to be working with a phenomenal client that is one of the UKs largest news publishers who own over 100 trusted national and local media brands which reach over 80% of the UK online population. You will have heard of a lot of these.

My client is looking to generate an enterprise data warehouse to improve their reporting capability withing the Business intelligence team Due to the data lake already existing within the AWS suit services, my client has chosen redshift to be the chosen platform to house the EDW.

You will own every aspect of my client's use of the redshift platform, this includes: Configuring the AWS network and security infrastructure, monitoring the cost and performance of the new EDW, Recommend and justify technology choices and provide database support by coding utilities an resolving problems as they come up.

Key requirements:

• Degree in computer science or Information management/ equivalent experience.
• Worked with lots of data storage solutions especially redshift
• Ability to product data models and physical schemas
• Over 6 years' experience working with data warehouses
• IAM, RBAC and AWS security experience
• board knowledge of technical choices of ETL
• Ability to code, version, package and deploy jobs in a CI/CD workflow
