Contract Project Engineer (Equipment Installations)

PROJECT ENGINEER (EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS) – 1 YEAR CONTRACT

iO Associates are currently partnered with a high‑tech organisation in the Leuven region who are looking for a Project Engineer to support upcoming technical upgrade projects. This role focuses on coordinating the readiness of utilities, services, and supporting infrastructure required for new equipment across specialised, tightly regulated work areas.

You will manage installation projects from initial request through to final acceptance. This includes developing project plans, coordinating internal technical teams, defining facility interfaces, and ensuring all work is delivered to the required standards. You’ll act as the central point of contact for progress, risks, and technical alignment.

Rate: Negotiable

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and integration projects for new technical equipment
• Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking
• Define facility and utility requirements for new tool installations
• Coordinate internal contractors and cross‑functional engineering teams
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all activities follow safety and compliance procedures

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronic Engineering, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical engineering environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• Ability to energise and support project teams
• Strong commitment to safety and operational discipline
