Business Analyst - Cheltenham (DV/eDV Cleared)

Contract: 12+ months | Rate: £85-£100 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Cheltenham - 3-4 days onsite per week

About the Opportunity

We are supporting a leading global engineering and project management consultancy that works at the forefront of national security and intelligence programmes in the UK. Their Cheltenham-based team partners with government and defence clients to deliver complex transformation and technology-driven business improvement initiatives.

They are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join on a long-term project, working in a secure environment to enable effective business change and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Facilitate workshops to drive engagement and capture actionable insights.
Lead the analysis of existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
Support the implementation of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Support benefits realisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Experience in requirements definition, business process modelling, and change impact analysis.
Proficiency with Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience supporting organisations through business transformation or digital change.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds current DV/eDV clearance (essential).
Proactive, analytical, and confident in working with senior stakeholders.
Able to communicate complex information effectively across all levels.
A collaborative team player with strong emotional intelligence and adaptability.
Comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-paced, secure environment.
