Category Manager - Local Government

Up to £53k per annum

Full time, 37 hours per week

Hybrid/North-West London (2 days per week in office)

We currently have fantastic opportunities for CATEGORY MANAGER across Corporate Services, Social Care, Construction and Facilities Management. You'll be able to make a significant impact within your specialized category, aligning your efforts with the Procurement Strategy and the priorities of the Council.

This is a PERMANENT role where you'll be involved in line management responsibilities to help the council achieves its desired outcomes. You will play a crucial role as a primary strategic adviser on procurement matters, projects, complexity, and/or risk for the council.

Skills Required

• Experienced in overseeing end-to-end procurement processes in public sector organisations.
• Track record of successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of PCR 2015.
• Knowledge of upcoming procurement act.
• Strong experience of procurement within Corporate Services, Social Care or Construction categories.
